How to change your plan

This article provides instructions for changing from one internet plan to another.


If you want to change your plan, you can easily do it online. Remember, there are never any change fees with Viasat.

If you already have an account,
 log into Your Account with your username and password. You'll go straight to the Change Plan section.

If you haven't signed up yet for your account, registration is very easy - just click the new user link under the login field at account.viasat.com.

Once you're there, here's what you'll find:

 The summary page gives you a chance to review your new plan to ensure it meets your needs, and explains how any data will carry over to it.

The Confirmation page will let you know what to expect next, and provide details on changes you’ll see on your next bill. 
 
After you submit the change, your modem will reset to load the new plan. You’ll be offline for a few minutes while this happens.

*Note: If you need to move onto or off of the Hibernation plan, you’ll need to call us for these changes at 855-463-9333. If your service has been suspended for anything other than non-payment, you’ll need to call as well. If you are suspended for non-payment, you can log into account.viasat.com, make a payment, and have your service resumed.
