What we're doing to help minimize the impact of COVID-19 on you and your business

Latest message for Viasat Business customers:

As we continue to monitor the evolving situation around COVID-19, we wanted to let you know that Viasat is committed to the priority of our employees' safety, as well as ensuring our customers stay connected.

To stay on top of the situation, we are using our resources from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Department of State, the World Health Organization (WHO), the European CDC, and other sources of data.

Providing world-class service

At Viasat, we're doing all we can to be part of the solution to the containment of the virus. Like many businesses, we're encouraging employees whose roles allow it to work from home and implementing social distancing for employees still working the office. Our technicians have been encouraged to follow best practices when installing service for our customers, and we've asked our customers to reschedule their appointments if they have been exposed to, or display COVID-19 symptoms. You can read more about safety precautions during installation here. We are also discouraging all non-essential employee travel. With that in mind, we don't anticipate these arrangements to impact our ability to provide you with support as you need it.

Our Business Care team is available Monday-Sunday, 7 AM to 1 AM CT at 855-313-4111 or BusinessCare@Viasat.com.

Keeping you connected. Now more than ever.

During this difficult and unsettling time, our priority is to continue to provide you with reliable, high-speed connectivity so you can continue running your business operations. Viasat's vertically integrated and owned satellite and ground technology lets us make network adjustments to meet changing traffic demands. Viasat engineers are already analyzing and forecasting changing usage demands based on anticipated work-from-home and remote education needs, so we can address network usage spikes and increased demand.

"Active management of the network is something we at Viasat do every day; however, during a time of much higher network usage and demand... we must look for additional ways to optimize our network to best serve as many customers as possible, with the data and speeds each needs to be productive."

Now more than ever we know that our work is of critical importance as people rely on our service to access information about the COVID-19 situation and continue to work with their colleagues and customers from wherever they may be.
